Created by entrepreneur Karina Schmitt Lund and crafted by twice-voted "World's Best Chef" Rasmus Kofoed, Winterspring is a range of exquisite ice desserts inspired by the ever changing Nordic seasons. Priced at the premium end of the scale, sycamorethree was tasked with creating a suitably indulgent pack that would complement as well as revere and protect the delicate products inside.

 

Using only the finest seasonal ingredients and to be presented, as chef intended, in the comfort of your own home, we therefore worked backwards to ensure that preservation and final presentation were central to our solution. Inspired by the beautiful simplicity of the Japanese bento-box, we created a three-tiered pack that cherished the 3-part ice dessert while intuitively speaking to the service ritual.

 

Launched in Copenhagen in 2014, Winterspring subsequently won a 'Red Dot award for packaging 2015’ as well as numerous local awards, and can now be found in high-end retailers across Scandinavia and the UK.
