Why are so many retail POS products so uninspiring?

We asked this question when SG approached us again to create their new retail document scanner. We crafted the product to lie comfortably within the growing SG design language and also to bring elegance and beauty to the counter top.

Expansive white gloss panels are tied together with functional black elements and lines that beautifully and logically break up the form, at the same time optimising part sizes for production. The final product reached the market quickly and resonated brilliantly with retailers looking to bring interest and beauty back in store.
