Innocent fun!

One of Holland's best-loved 70s brands and a nostalgic reminder of the "good old days" for many, Tjolk gained iconic status as much for its delicious taste as its playful characters.


Following years of decline precipitated by different owners, sycamorethree was tasked with defining a new positioning to tell a more relevant story for modern consumers and also creating the entire packaging and promotional range.

Updating heritage brands requires care and consideration, so we were careful to preserve, sympathetically evolve and reshape the brand's heritage cues while adding messaging that spoke to the natural ingredients story; a fundamental aspect of the new owner's philosophy and attitude.


Launched in 2014, the design juxtaposes the product's natural authenticity with the brand's cheeky personality, going on to win "Best Product of the Year 2015-2016"
